Wachovia offers a credit card that would satisfy the needs of many types of people, especially because it has a very versatile rewards program. Most people would agree that we like our options, and that is what you will get with this card. If you are looking for a personal credit card with a pretty nice rewards program and a potentially great APR depending on your credit, you should take a peek at the Wachovia Visa Platinum with Rewards.

Possibilities Rewards

With this free membership program you earn two points for each purchase. If you also have a Wachovia account and use their Visa check card you earn one point for every purchase you make that doesn’t require a pin number. Just make sure you register all your cards at the Wachovia Possibilities site. Another way to take advantage of this reward is to shop through the Earn More Mall, which lets you receive up to ten points per dollar spent.

Spending your reward is half the fun. Wachovia let’s you choose from a variety gift cards, merchandise, and travel options. You can select a retail gift card to restaurants like Applebees and stores like William-Sonoma. They have over one hundred gift card choices available. You can also choose to get a Visa gift card that is useable everywhere. They range in pt values from 5,500 to 200,000. You can use the travel rewards on airline tickets, car rentals, cruises, hotels, suitcases, vacation packages, and travel insurance. Browse the complete list.

One more thing, if you are a little short of getting a reward you can purchase pts in increments of one thousand; you can purchase up to two hundred thousand pts a year. So your pts will never go to waste because of not reaching the minimum rewards value. To do this you have to log into your account or call customer service 888-440-7000.

In my opinion this is a pretty good credit card. If you want a broad rewards program this is the card for you. You have so many different options for which to redeem your points. Plus the interest rate can be pretty low at 8.99% if you have excellent credit. This Visa also benefits people who are already members of Wachovia and use the check card. Although you can get a better reward with other cards, this one is still good.
