Review
The Vanilla Visa gift card is really a prepaid credit card, but it doesn’t come with all the perks of a regular prepaid card or a debit card. To get a Vanilla Visa card all you have to do is pay the cashier the amount the card is worth and sign the back of the card. They come in three amounts $100.00, $50.00, and $25.00. You can only put money on the card once you can’t refill it like a prepaid card.

To make purchases with the Vanilla Visa card all you need to do is use it like a regular credit card. Swipe the card and select credit on the keypad. If you don’t have enough money on your account to make the purchase you must tell the cashier how much is left on there and then provide an additional payment method. You can check out account online at the Vanilla Visa website.

This card is really meant as a gift card to give to another person. The benefits of this card over a regular gift card is the person can spend it anywhere Visa is accepted as opposed to being limited to one chain of stores. Just make sure to use up the card a few months after you get it to avoid the monthly fee.
