The Meijer Platinum MasterCard is the credit card offered to consumers. There are four variable interest rates available: 12.24%, 17.24%, 19.24%, and 21.24%. After you apply you are given an interest rate based on your credit score. There is not an introductory APR with this credit card and there isn’t a balance transfer offer either.

It comes with a points rewards program where you earn points for each dollar spent. After you have collected two thousand points they mail you ten dollars in Meijer Bucks. Meijer Bucks must be spent at Meijers. It can’t be transferred into a gift certificate or cash and you can only receive Meijer Bucks as your reward. If you don’t spend the full ten dollars on your purchase you forfeit the rest of the amount, and if you spend more then the ten dollars the rest must be paid with your Platinum MasterCard.

I don’t recommend this card unless you do most of your grocery shopping at Meijer. Although the interest rate isn’t bad if you have good credit, you could find a credit card with a better rewards program and a no interest introductory offer.
