The Citgo Plus card is terrible. There are really no extra “benefits” that one wouldn’t call standard features. For instance, they offer flexible monthly payments or pay in full, you may order additional Citgo cards, and you can pay online. No, these features aren’t unique among credit cards. The only incentive/gimmick to attaining this card is they’re current offer of a $20 dollar gift card if you promise to make at least 4 purchases with the new card in the first 60 days of issue. The newest promotion is that you will be entered into a drawing for $100 or $1000 every time you use your card, however they only have 19 drawings, so your chances of wining anything is very small.

I haven’t even gotten to the best part of this card, the interest rate. They have an abysmal flat standard rate of 24.99%. So, to sum this credit card up, you don’t receive any “points” or incentives for using this credit card at the Citgo gas station, or anywhere; the interest rate is pretty awful, and their only seasonal incentive is just a gimmick. Don’t get this card, just a free regular speedy rewards card tops this offer, and you can get even better if you want to commit and get the Speed way credit card. We highly recommend against getting this credit card.
