It is hard to say which is the best credit card overall. There are many factors that people should judge a card on; the annual percentage rate (APR), if there is an annual fee, applicability, credit worthiness, the credit limit, the rewards, and so on. There is no card that offers all of these in one neat package.
If for instance you want to have the lowest APR possible, and an excellent reward program, but you don’t have a very good credit score you won’t be able to obtain this card.
We picked the Discover More card as the overall best credit card, and it’s not because we get paid the most per approval it’s because we think it is a solid credit card. Most of the credit cards are similar to what they offer in interest rate and rewards unless you consider store cards. It offers an above average annual percentage rate and one of the best rewards out of all the credit cards available.
One major drawback of the Discover More card is it’s a Discover card, which means it isn’t as readily accepted as a Visa or MasterCard.
